Instead of giving your valentine cut flowers that will wilt in a few days, pot up a pretty arrangement that can be enjoyed for several months or even year-round. To make this teapot-turned-flowerpot, use a drill fitted with a masonry bit to carefully drill several drainage holes into the bottom of the teapot. (If you’re worried about potential chipping, apply masking tape to the surface before drilling.) Add pebbles to the bottom to help with drainage, fill the pot with potting soil, and set it on a saucer or plate. Just plant a blend of favorite flowers—or a single variety, if you’d rather—and this little project is in the bag.
